A Transition Is Happening

As my business partner and I meticulously outlined our schedule for the upcoming month, I couldn't help but feel caught in a whirlwind of tasks, deadlines, and last-minute edits. 

The road ahead is not just filled with adventures; it’s littered with transformative experiences that await us in Brazil and beyond. Over the next six months, our agendas are packed with substantial and demanding projects, all of which promise to be both challenging and rewarding.

As we navigate the complexities of establishing Heye Frequency, our new creative agency, and juggle moving from California, traveling, and living across different countries this summer, I plan to take you along every step of the way.

Our ambitions are not limited to building a business. We are also creatively directing for another media company where I hold equity, managing personal well-being, and continuously producing content through filming, writing, and editing. This whirlwind encapsulates everything I've dreamed of. But I am already Sleepy! lol

Reflecting on the past 15 years, I realize that I have gradually mastered the art of being a full-time creative. It feels surreal to call myself an expert after all this time, but experience speaks for itself. Now, in a season of giving back, I aim to share the knowledge and insights I've gained with those eager to harness their creativity.

One core principle I've stuck to is the realization that in creativity, there is no final destination; there is only the journey. This is one of the 12 principles i wrote in my Heye Frequency Creed. This mindset shift has allowed me to focus on improving by 1% every day, which, although it seems small, significantly enhances my personal and professional growth.

The next 6 to 12 months will be transformative. They will not only shape our business and personal character but will also forge new friendships.
