A Whirlwind Of Life

I had a VERY introspective call with my mentor a couple of days ago, which will need to be another newsletter in itself. I will tell you that it literally shifted all of my summer plans and basically got me in line for the next 6-12 months.

Everything happening in my life feels like it’s supposed to be happening, but it always makes the mind wonder... Why? I know it’s not for me to know because if I knew, I wouldn’t learn anything.

I heard this quote:

So, everything happening around me is because I am in a place where pieces of this puzzle are slowly being put together, starting with the inside first. I am in the midst of making a major move from Los Angeles to Seattle to better my business, be in the room with people who are making the money and moving how I want, and to keep growing as a person. Will this be my final stop? I don’t know. That’s the beauty because when I reflect back on most of the times I didn’t know something, God did something that propelled me further than my wildest dreams. Will it be uncomfortable and new? Yes.

My whole career over the past 15 years has been uncomfortable in a sense. Anything in the creative field is a scary thing. It’s scary because there is no guarantee, but it’s so amazingly wonderful because the ceiling is SO HIGH. The ceiling is so high because my creativity comes from above, so I’ll NEVER run out of it. I can use it to go as far as I would like.

Steve Jobs said:

Meaning, keep that appetite for success and keep that creative mind open and curious in life. That’s where I am—making sure I am adaptable. Energy is always shifting and changing, even with this newsletter.

After having a team meeting with my co-founder and CEO, we want to provide more insight and value to our fellow creators and aspiring creators. So, even this newsletter will be taking a slight shift, providing creator insights like I give now, as well as another section from my CEO about personal branding and market trends.

The vision for my company Heye Frequency is slowly coming together. In these moments, I have to remember to give myself grace because we launched in January and the business model has switched twice to become what it is now. Just a reminder to never be afraid to start the thing, because you won’t know what it really is until you are in it. Looking forward to continuing to let you guys in and being a transparent creator and business owner. Hopefully, it will inspire someone to get up, get out, and get after it.
